Booking
- How do I book an appointment?
- Click any "Book Now" button to open our online booking, or call us at (678) 964-4372. New and returning clients can book online anytime.
- Can I book online, or do I have to call?
- Both. Online booking is open around the clock through our online booking link, and you're welcome to call or text during business hours if you'd prefer to talk through your appointment.
- Do I need a consultation before my first appointment?
- Not always, but we recommend one if you're starting locs, considering color, recovering from damage, or unsure which service you need. For color, a consultation is required so we can assess your hair's health and plan safely.
Deposits
- Is a deposit required to book?
- Yes. A $25 deposit is required to schedule any appointment and goes toward your service total.

Cancellations
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Please give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the slot to another client. Cancellation and rescheduling details appear when you book online.

Lateness
- What happens if I'm running late?
- Please call or text us. We'll do our best to accommodate you, but late arrivals may need to be shortened or rescheduled to respect the next client's time. Late arrivals are still charged the full service price.
- Is there a grace period before I'm considered a no-show?
- We hold appointments for a short window. After that, to respect the next client, the appointment may be rescheduled. A quick call or text lets us plan around your delay whenever possible.
Kids
- Do you do children's hair?
- Yes! We love caring for kids' natural hair of every texture, from toddlers to teens. We're patient with tender-headed and first-time clients, and we coach parents on simple home routines too.
Hair Prep
- How should I arrive for my appointment?
- Arrive with clean, detangled hair whenever possible. For loc retwists and most services we cleanse at the salon, but coming detangled saves time and may reduce your cost. Each service page has specific prep tips.
- Should I wash or detangle before coming in?
- For most loc and styling services, arrive detangled and product-free. For silk presses, clean, dry, detangled hair presses best. If heavy detangling is needed, an additional fee may apply.
Loc Maintenance
- How often should I retwist or retighten my locs?
- Most locs need a retwist every 4–8 weeks; Sisterlocks are retightened every 4–6 weeks. Your stage, growth rate, and method decide your exact cadence — we set it with you at each visit.
Heat Safety
- Will a silk press damage my natural curls?
- When done with controlled, single-pass heat and a quality protectant, a silk press is temporary and your curls return after washing. We're heat-damage-conscious by design and never reuse high-temperature passes.
Color
- Do you offer color, and is it safe for natural hair?
- Yes. Color requires a consultation first so we can assess your hair's health and use bond-friendly, curl-safe products. We never color already-stressed hair without a plan to protect your curl pattern.
Pricing
- Why are some prices "starting at" or "varies"?
- Every head of hair is different — length, density, and condition affect time and product. Prices and times shown are starting points; final quotes depend on your hair, and we confirm before we begin. See current pricing when you book.
Products
- What products do you use?
- We use professional, curl- and loc-friendly products chosen for moisture, definition, and hair health — free of harsh sulfates and drying alcohols. We recommend the right ones for home at the end of your visit.
